Gary has spent over four decades on two wheels, riding everything from rugged mountain trails to the roads that define San Francisco. As a lifelong local, he knows the city beyond the map—the quiet climbs, the hidden viewpoints, and the routes most people miss.He has led small-group rides for Cavallo Point Resort in Sausalito and worked with several of San Francisco’s top tour and rental outfits. Those experiences shaped his approach: smaller groups, better bikes, and a more personal way to explore the city.Before launching North Beach Cyclery, Gary built a career in luxury sales and customer experience, bringing a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality into everything he does. He is also a top-ranking competitor in the West Coast Mountain Bike Series.
